Elizabeth Mateer is a poet, translator, and speaker whose work explores belonging, love, and memory while connecting poetry with psychology and culture.

Her poetry has been featured in The Poetry Lighthouse, Beyond Words Literary Magazine, Four Tulips Press, Arcana Poetry Press, and Radical Catalyst Journal. In addition to writing poetry, she also works as a translator and ambassador of Italian poetry for The Poetry Lighthouse. She received her B.A. in Creative Writing from Hunter College and holds a Ph.D. in clinical psychology.
