About the book.

Searching for Home is a poetry collection that explores love, loss, and the search for belonging. From tiny apartments in New York’s East Village to intimate moments in the desert, this collection captures the essence of human connection and celebrates the unyielding strength found in moments of vulnerability.

Available from my publisher, The Poetry Box, here, or at Barnes & Noble, Bookshop.org, and Amazon.

About me.

Elizabeth

Books have been my lifelong method of exploration, adventure, and escape. As a child, I could always be found with my face in a fantasy novel. By extension, writing became my preferred form of expression. Now, I write poetry (mainly). I use my writing as a way to process, express, and connect. I love the craft and life of language, how it expands and contracts to wrap around the message we’d like to deliver. Or not. Writing is magic if harnessed it correctly.

While Searching for Home is the title of my debut poetry collection, it also encapsulates the feeling behind most of my writing - a longing to feel safe, seen, and understood.

My poetry has been featured in Fractured Light, Dancing on Moonbeams, The Poetry Lighthouse, and Beyond Words Literary Magazine. In addition to writing poetry, I also work as a translator and ambassador of Italian poetry for The Poetry Lighthouse. I received my B.A. in Creative Writing from Hunter College and am currently working on my Ph.D. in clinical psychology.
